Just like a bridge connects the two sides of a river or valley, bringing a city or an entire country together, a museum is often a way to connect two cultures that would otherwise not have an opportunity to interact.
The Kistefos Museum in Norway has recently decided to move forward with a project proposed by the Bjarke Ingels Group that will combine both concepts.
The new structure will not only cross the Randselva River in the Kistefos Sculpture Park, it will also be home to a museum destined to showcase art collections in a new environment.
